No account, nothing asked of you

Gamecove does not ask for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and there is nothing to sign up for. This page covers gamecove.games itself; each game on its own subdomain carries the same policy on its own privacy page.

What stays on your device

Your streak, your statistics, which puzzles you have finished and your light or dark theme preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device, they are never uploaded, and clearing your browser storage deletes them for good.

Every game has export and import controls on its cookies page, so you can move that record to another browser yourself if you want to. Nothing moves automatically.

No analytics, no tracking

There is no analytics product on this site, no tracking pixel and no third-party script that profiles you. We do not build a profile of you, we do not sell anything about you, and we could not identify you from what we hold, because we do not hold it.

Advertising

No advertising is served on Gamecove today and no advertising cookies are set. We intend to fund the games with advertising eventually, and if and when that starts, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for a choice before any advertising cookie is set, ads will stay non-personalised without consent, and the cookies page will describe exactly what is set. This page will be updated on the same day that changes.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details of a request, including your IP address, in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. We do not receive an identifiable record of your visit from them and we do not run our own logs on top.
